Ordering and lead times

How long does it take to make my table?

Made-to-order pieces have a lead time of 6-8 weeks. Pieces that are in stock are ready to go: we contact you to schedule delivery as soon as you have ordered.

Can I choose another size, shape or colour?

Yes. Almost every design can be made in other dimensions, and Mortex® comes in a wide range of colours. Request a quote and Anthony will get back to you personally with a proposal.

Do you make completely custom tables?

We do. For a fully bespoke piece we provide detailed technical drawings, so every detail is agreed before production begins. Read how we work.

How do I pay?

Online you pay the full amount when you place your order. For orders placed with us directly, a deposit is asked when the order is confirmed, as set out in our terms of sale.

Materials

What is Mortex®?

Mortex® is a mineral microcement. We work exclusively with Mortex: it is applied by hand in thin layers and finished matte, giving a seamless, tactile surface with subtle variations in colour and texture. No two surfaces are exactly alike.

Is Mortex suitable for a dining table?

Yes. The surface is protected so it can be used every day. Like any natural material it develops a patina over time. Our care guide explains how to keep it looking good.

Is your oak solid or veneer?

Our oak tables are made of solid oak, not veneer. The grain and colour differ from piece to piece, and wood keeps moving slightly with the seasons: that is part of its character.

Can I see and feel the materials first?

Of course. You are welcome in our atelier in Ledegem by appointment to compare oak and Mortex samples. Get in touch to arrange a visit.

Can a table be used outdoors?

Our tables are designed for indoor use. For some Mortex designs an outdoor version is possible: ask us and we will tell you honestly what works.

Delivery and after-sales

Where do you deliver?

With our own team in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany. Online orders are delivered in Belgium; for other countries we calculate the shipping cost separately. See delivery.

Do you assemble the table?

Yes. We carry the table into the room of your choice, assemble it and take all packaging with us.

What warranty do I get?

You have the legal two-year guarantee on defects. Natural characteristics of wood and Mortex, such as slight differences in colour or the wood working, are not defects. The details are in our terms of sale.
